Start with the AI you already use. Preflight before work, leave a structured handoff when you stop, and let the next AI continue from evidence instead of starting over.
Install Arkon Vault from your AI’s marketplace
- ChatGPT: open the public Arkon Vault plugin, select Install plugin, and authorize your Vault workspace.
- Claude: open the public Arkon Vault connector, choose the available connect action, and authorize your Vault workspace.
- Codex, Cursor, or Grok: open Commands → Connect an AI and copy that tool’s private setup.
Connections are independent. You do not need to install an AI tool you do not use, and you should never paste a Vault password or token into chat.
Run preflight before starting
Ask the connected AI to run vault_preflight for your current project. Follow the returned action: Continue, Coordinate, or Start new.
Add Arkon Sync only if you want local continuity
Optional Arkon Sync derives limited project records from supported local AI session files and sends those records to your private Arkon Vault workspace. It does not upload complete raw transcripts or full assistant responses.
Use Commands → Install Arkon Sync, then choose Connect securely through browser. Live AI connectors work without Sync.
Leave the next step
When you pause, ask the AI to create a structured handoff. The next AI accepts it, checkpoints meaningful progress, and completes or hands off again.
Continuity loop: Preflight → Accept → Work → Checkpoint → Handoff or Complete.
